Hello everybody,

Please feel free to check out http://www.mypinboard.com

It allows you to create completely freeform and animated Flash based web content in a jiffy. Content is created using an online website editor.

You can see a showcase of what's possible here http://www.mypinboard.com?showcase

I'd really appreciate your feedback of both the site, and your experiences using the editor to create content.

Thanks.

How does one get back to the main menu from the showcase page? Besides hitting the back button.

Hello,

The showcase should appear in its own window, but I think you found the one link (on the top menu bar) that doesn't do that, and is inconsistent with other links to the showcase.

I will correct it!

Thanks for looking at the site.

Why would you want to have another window open up? Why not just have it flow like the rest of the site in one window?

Regarding opening a new window for the Showcase; my plan is to have a 'gallery page' with numerous links to sites created with mypinboard.com (including the Showcase).

The gallery page will open a single new window in which the sites appear. The gallery page will remain in the main browser window to allow convenient navigation to any of the mypinboard.com sites.

I think in this instance, a 'pop-up' window is justified, and will improve the usability of the site.

You might want to consider on letting your users know this with some type of text saying what will happen and why.

I can mention in the text that a new window will open.

Apart from that, what are your impressions regarding the aesthetics of the site in general?

Thanks.

Over all your site looks pretty good. Nice pleasing colors to my eyes. Can not speak for others. Good clean menus. I like it.
