Hey,

I would appretiate any views you have of this new site, ConnectMeet.com. It's basically alot like MySpace where you create your user profile and you can join in various activities throughout the website. One main feature is the website page editor, which allows you to customize your web page in 'real-time' without any HTML knowledge (hopefully giving the site an edge over sites like MySpace.com and face-pic etc)...

If you like the look of the site then please join up and tell your friends.

Thanks for your time and views,

-Ross Oliver

Take the google ad off of the top of the page. Does not look right there.

Any way of putting more info on the left side of the page. Just that short column you have does not make the rest of the site look good. Off balance.

yea i agree with the google ad, but unfortunately the left bar is slightly too thin to hold a google advertisement...if you log in the column does increase with more options when your viewing users profiles

Thanks for your views, I welcome any more...

You might want to make the left column something like 120 wide. Most anything can be placed in this area than. It just looks weird with it being that small. The google ads should be able to fit into something this wide.

You might want to consider having an About Page.

What is the difference between home and my page?

If you have to have the google ads on top, make them so they are to the right edge, it looks like you have them centered.

I'll look into making the column wider, it should be feasible...and your right, the advert is centred - I will re-align it and see how it looks...

The difference between 'home page' and 'my page' is basically the home page has the 'about' section of the site and other familiar statistics, where as the 'my page' is the page given to each user that signs up. When you sign up the whole point of the site is that you get a profile (or 'my') page which you can then edit using the page editor to make it your own. You can then create blogs/upload images/comment other peoples profiles and get 'buddys' - expanding your network...

Thanks for your suggestions, keep 'em comin

-Ross
