Too many applets and cliched tricks. Remember, in ANY kind of design, less is more. You have scrolls, javascripts (erroneous at that), applets and who knows what else all over the site. It works, but it chews up resources and slows everything down.

You have something unique here. Focus on your content and get rid of the tricks. Do you really need them?
