Hello,
We've designed our site with the main idea to be very friendly. We deal in tech industry and thought that people will be more comfortable when they see a friendly, colorful site. However, now we wonder if we didn't make a mistake and should've chosen a more technical style instead. Maybe people that need our product are looking for tech. looking sites? So please give your opinion on this. If you were in need of similar product, would you be comfortable ordering from us? Or would you look for more technical site. Thank you for your opinion, Andrius |

I think the site looks great and contains a lot of useful information but your visitors might not take you seriously due to the "cartoon" graphics.
Overall, the colours you use are good but I would recommend swapping the images for something more professional. Remember your website is sometimes the only thing your customer sees about you. So it has to convey the right message, and people will make their minds up about you within a few seconds of visiting. |

One of the more respected illustration shops uses similar 'cartoon' figures. However they use them to describe and explain sophisticated concepts, including technology -- they're called infographics.
Such graphic explanations would be a friendly way to illustrate concepts, but you don't do that. You do make some attempt to show what makes you smart, and the graphics are at least different. I think the site isn't using graphics or copy to best effect by a long shot, but in a sea of "me-too" the site visually sticks out. "Smart" design has a lot of potential as a concept, but you are not doing it justice. |

Thank you all for your feedbacks. I really appreciate it. And this is exactly what I wanted to hear. Also hope to get some more opinions.
DCrux, I know which shop you are referring to. As you can see, we didn't try to copy them. I also agree that our site looks different from others, which is good. But it still looks that we should've gone to more technical and professional style. Thank you |

What a great looking website! Parts of the tables are mismatched when viewed in firefox but i'm sure it wont take much to fix that. The images deffinatly add character to the site - looks really friendly! I love the use of colour and the gradient effects everywhere.
It isn't entirely obvious on the site in regard to what you are actually selling but it isn't hard to work out! In the sections with customer comments, why not put actual pictures of them rather than cartoons? |

I agree with Janeth - it's not clear at all what you're selling. Lose the "floating guy" - stick a shopping cart there - then at least we'd have some idea where we were...
The "above the fold" part of your page is the bit which decides whether a potential client stays.... or goes. If your logo isn't clear, or your content/copy isn't direct enough - people will be hitting the back button to go back to Google to the 100's of other shopping cart search results they have. From a content/copy point of view - the first paragraph on the home page is vague.... you even throw in words like "problem". You should never use negative words - even if you are describing what your product does better than other products. Use positive words to sell your product. On the Overview you hint at what the software does - it doesn't actually say what the software does. Again - more clarity required in the copy. Oh yes,you have a table width of 987 pixels - which creates a lovely little scroll bar across the bottom of a browser when someone is viewing in 800 X 600 resolution. (There is a great debate as to how many people still use 800 X 600 - I do, and a third of my blog viewing public do as well :) ). I do like the nice crisp, clean look of the site. I just think you need to re-do the logo, and concentrate on the copy a bit. |
