I am working on a new site for a client and I can use anyone's feedback. I am interested in finding out how the background is viewed in different browsers. The site is http://www.IGotATrafficTicket.com

First impressions... the use of striking images was very effective.. it certainly caught my attention. The dynamic shot of the court building, the lawyer, traffic cop and car, etc. However, none of these images had ALT tags, and the total size of this page's images is just over 200kb (119kb for the background image alone), which will load in over 30 seconds on a 56Kbps modem! Try to reduce the total page size to around 40kb this will help those site visitors still using dialup.
Menu links were not immediately obvious - these need to be featured more prominently and you might consider using a contrasting color for the rollover images. The navigation worked consistently with no broken links.

Free Consultation form:
Quote:
Please complete the following form and Mr. Morales will be contacting you for your free consultation.
This is the first mention of any individual's name... and it got me thinking who's Mr Morales? On the form itself, the input field "type of ticket" one of the 'Select' options was Red Lite... I would try not to use colloquial terms. Also, if you're taking visitor information it's common practice to include a link to your site's privacy policy to reassure visitors that their email addresses will not be passed on to third parties, etc.

On the consultation.htm page you've used a large image map, the path to this image references a local file as shown below:
Code:
onLoad="MM_preloadImages('file:///C|/Documents%20and%20Settings...
Using the image for this page's text and graphics means that there is virtually zero content for any SE spiders. Your FAQ section uses a similar approach, which frankly baffles me!

On fight.htm page you have a couple of typos "bargin" = bargain, and the following line could be reworded...
Quote:
We make keeping your driving record in tact easy.
intact (meaning complete?) should be written as one word rather than two.

Overall, I thought the site has lots of potential, and you've been astute enough to pick on one area of the law that a wide cross-section of the population may encounter. I also noticed the 'lawoffices' section is coming soon, so clearly it's still a work in progress. I wish you lots of luck, hope my comments have helped in some way!

Paul

PS. The title of your post should really be the name of your site - just forum ettiquette! ;-)

First of all; if I lived in the SA area, I would utilize Mr. Morales services and of course if I received a ticked while traveling through SA. Excellent site and straight to the point!

A couple of mistakes that I noticed were:

1. The Title: each word is capitalized except for the word "Ticket"

2. On the about us page: The 2nd paragraph, spacing needs to be corrected between the word "take" and the number "10". Take a look and you will see what I mean!

Have a nice day!
