Default Please review my site. http://www.doseuk.com

Hi there,

I have been reading through a few of the forums on this site and there is so much information that a newbie like me can get lost in it all.

I have created my first website and after it being up there for a little while, I am only getting about 7 visitors per day (don't laugh, it's my first attempt)

I would very much appreciate any advice as to how to get a few more than 7.

Thanks in advance for your time and effort.

Warning some of the T-Shirt Logos are 18+ adult slogans

Giovanni

Sorry,

I know what I asked for was a bit vague, that is, just asking for the site to be reviewed.

What I really wanted to know was are the pages too heavily loaded with code so that when an SE like google get hold of them, they will view it as spam?

I have heard a lot of people talking about how easy it is to be blacklisted by google. I don't know how much truth is in this but I don't want to find out the hard way.

Thanks again.

Gio,

Default your sites review

The site looks good but theres no content, visable or hidden! For most engine spiders you need relevant content pertaining to your products, it's almost impossible to list all the appropriate content for each of your products or keywords, so you need doorway(bridge)pages, for each of your products or at the least your Keywords/Phrases, but these need to be done in a way that the spiders do not pick them out, they are considered spam, & will get you banned from the engines if noticed, I looked at your Keywords & Phrases & ran them through a keyword program & determined that your most relevant words/phrases are only being searched about 35 times per month out of 156 million searches, this is probably the reason you not getting many hits, I also ran a google search for the phrase t-shirts DoseUK & you came up #1 & #2 out of 4 returns total, but this is probably not a realistic search term used by very many people, below is a list of search words & phrases that get looked up a great deal more than your leading search word

(taken from 313 million search queries over the last 60 days)

Keyword Search Hits last60 days

clothing 3056
vintage clothing 2232
gothic clothing 2221
express clothing 2087
hollister clothing 1667
womens clothing 1504
plus size clothing 1375
renaissance clothing 1286
women's clothing 1180
maternity clothing 1087
medieval clothing 1079
childrens clothing 1050
mens clothing 968
punk clothing 900
latex clothing 883

You may not be able to use all of these but if you could get half of them on a optimized doorway page(s) then it should increase you site traffic a great deal more.

Thanks weavers94,

I will go back to the drawing board and see about my keywords on this.

I know that t-shirts or tshirts are very highly searched terms but the chances of comming very high on a Search Engine with that word is near impossible.

Tanks again for your input, much appreciated.

Default cool t-shirts

I like the site, very easy to navigate and presents the info very well. On the website promotion side of things, you can advertise free on my UK business directory I launched a couple of days ago. I'll be promoting it in newspapers and radio stations eventually and you'll be the first I have listed under T-shirts... www.townabout.co.uk
