I will be updating my book website, www.onepaycheckatatime.com, in the next couple weeks. Fortunately I have received some wonderful book reviews that I would like to include on the site. Additionally, I will be adding tell-a-friend functionality and affiliate information for webmasters.

I would appreciate any input that you can offer to improve the quality of the website.

Very professional looking. The only thing I could recommend is change the hue a bit on the main image and darken it some on the left. It looks a bit blurred and the people it does show, with the exception of the middle lady look kinda depressed. That might be what your going for but can easily be misinterpreted as your trying to market a product. Add some black around the text of the image to make it more readable. It just looks so dull and grayish as opposed to the soft blue of the site. Otherwise, wow.

Your website does look professional. It is very outstanding. But I hink that you should use more colors to make it really stand out. Or you should make the sales of your business with more darker colors to stand ot and get the person's atention.

In addition to design change on the home page I added:

CONTENT
- book reviews
- eliminated some content from the homepage
- new upbeat photos

AFFILIATE
- added a link for affiliates to participate in the click per sale affiliate program. I'm offering $1 for every paperback and $2 for every sold ebook. What do you think of the commission structure?
- two new banners to offer affiliates. I would attach them here for you to see, but I don't know how to do that.

TELL A FRIEND
- Although I'm pleased with the functionality, I'm rewriting the content because I didn't like the grammar in the first round. Check it out and tell me what you think.


PARTNERSHIPS
Finding the recipe that sells books is what I'm after although I like the design element. As such, I figure the best way is through by earning the necessary credibility to help people trust you. To that end, I'm partnering with a few webmasters who have complementary services.

- Financial counselors
- College job seeking website
- Book reviews

It's sad that you had to go through all that pain of being in debt for something u did not commit but it's really cool that you got out of the rut and worked your way through the ordeal and are now finding a way to assist others. Good on ya.

I started off selling noodles and childrens toys in order to start this business of mine and took 1 and half years to gain financial freedom. So I see the frustration u went through. More power to ya.
