| Submit Your Site For Review Need a fresh set of eyeballs to take a look at your site? Have a specific issue or question about some aspect of your layout, design or interface? This is the forum for you. When submitting your site, be sure to discuss what aspect you are looking for input on. Just posting a link with the word 'review' isn't appropriate. |

Hi all.
This is my first courageous step in asking you to please review one of my websites. Only the .co.uk is completed. The .com will take a bit longer. The url is http://www.phstravel.co.uk Regards John |

Not bad.. compaired to many other sites I've seen it has potential.
The Bad: Missing an over all theme. It needs charater and style. The Good: The content is good, but the site does not say "Plan a trip with us". The Best: Is that you did it and your working on it! Suggestion: You really should consider a template. It would save you hours of work and the site would knock the socks off your visitors feet! Cause, you want them to not only spend moola.. but, to also spend time on your site. Why: The longer they stay and come back the more likely you will make sales. On average most leave a site within 5 sec's. In the beginning our site was like a slip-n-slide and the average was like 85% gone in 5 seconds it's taken a year and we are now 36% and most stay for hours =) Good Luck!

You might want to lower the area that is just below the menu on top. Give it some space. Looked like it was runned in with the rest of the site.

Many thanks for the responses so far.
The site is framed but a template would be a good idea. I agree there is insufficient space between the header and the rest of the material. One problem I have with the gif images is that they are stacked direct from a database of thousands and when they refresh with every impression they come in varying sizes. We kept things close together in an attempt to reduce scroll down. Obviously you do scroll down when you click on the more info links. |
