Hi All: I met with the principles and after a lot of head scratching, listening and suggesting, listening and doing, etc .... they have approved the 'new look' of their site. I changed the scripts to reflect current times and tweaked their colours on the index page to catch the eye of people who speed read - I hope. In regards to the colours on the team page and the contact page - orange, green and gold are colours associated with the personalities of the principles as learned in a PBS seminar, and they wanted to keep these on the site. Any suggestions/comments will be appreciated. thanks. http://www.ehteam.org

I would cut back to two font colors, the left menu looks funny to me because the home seems to be bigger then the rest of the font on the buttons.

I would change the header at the top to match the page better and I would design a logo.

I have never thought black was good for a business website but then that's just me.

When you go to the team page you have even more colors on the site.

I've been trying to exercise being concise, yet tactful, and it's not working well, so bear with me please ....

The colors are "fugly" and clash. Red can be a show stopper for visually impaired for starters. Also, the clash of the colors, especially with the black bkgrd nearly trigger a seizure and headache - and that's just the home page. They get worse on the team page, but somewhat better on the projects - not as loud at least.

The old look of your website that is shown at WhoIs seemed more eye-friendly.

Try to develop a CSS to use for style taking unnessary code out of your pages while adding some consistency throughout the site.

Your title is too short - many engines will not accept less than 13 characters. Try something like Eh Team Computer Solutions or the like; capitalize on your Name and Mission.

Your logo (welcome gif) has a cool concept, but blends and blurs; looks like a bad horror movie poster of yesteryear :)

Your code and page has no proper headings use for emphasis.

You have no declared DOCTYPE and a few code errors. Try to validate via W3C; if you do, be sure to check "show outline" and you'll better get my point above about headings - yours (outline) will be blank.

I couldn't find a robots.txt file on your root domain, meaning search engine robots can't either and that won't help get you far. This is likely why I can't find you at Google, Yahoo, or MSN though you've apparently been online since Aug 2004. One of your three Y! references is to WPW, but none directly listing your site.

Sit back down with the principles. These may be their personality colours, but not colors that's going to match up well with web viewers IMHO ...

Good Luck and Happy Ranking!

To many colors for text. Made my eyes water. The word Canada looks funny.

Not a big fan of black background.

Get your text off of the borders some.

associates.htm pic can not be seen.

Yes you do have to many colors. Cut down on them and use maybe up to 3.
