Default UAE Website

Looks like you made the homepage from a template in Netobjects. Homepage doesn't look too bad I suppose. The text and links look a bit bland. The other pages do not match the homepage at all!

It's hard to see what the main purpose of the site is untill you look at some of the other pages. It then looks like the site has been made just to generate revenue from the adverts all over the site. Very little information is there to actually keep a visitor on the website. I'm really not suprised why no-one else has commented on this one!

Default My review.

In rating sites, I use this rule of thumb in decreasing order of importance.

1. Content.
2. Design.
3. Technical solution.

I am searching global information and linked to your site because it has a lot of new links that is not included in my linkcollection.

I use templates myself. Why reinvent the wheel? My life is too short to program in assembler now.

"He said, the only thing that did not lie was mathematics, simply because it could not".
Quote from Reminicenses of a stock operator.

Where is your companys organization number and telephone number? Would not link to you if it were a site in the category "security". Perhaps I was too fast and did not find it.

What did any of that have to do with their website apart from you linking to it?

I use templates too but I design my own! LOL! Your site kgun is a rip off the Macromedia Website!

Do you have a better template than the standard templates in Macromedia Dreamweaver? A template that integrate seamless into Macromedia Dreamweaver and is effective and easy to use? Then send it to me at kgun-b@webmail.no. I also modified the Macromedia template. On the menu on the EurAsian subpage there is 11 items. I think 7 or 8 is standard. You find the new design on this

subpage.

Macromedia have mostly reduced basic webdevelopement to wordprosessing.

Digression: His site is mostly a digital Ad Magazine. Mine is the same with foccused financial information in addition. US education is heavy visitors, so they use it. UK is discovering it. People that discover the site "may save money." Everything can be better, aside from Robin Hood that split his fathers arrow in the center of the goal.

My life is also too short to start a long discussion here, so please use my email if you have further comments.

I design a new template for every site that I make so no, sorry, I do not have one for you to use. I didn't even know that Macromedia gave you templates!

Your new subpage looks a lot better than the previous one. Found the other one far too long!

Some like the mother, others the daughter. Hope the EUR ASIAN page will be much longer, as the net grows.

Speed is increasing, and it is mostly a financial site. I think people searching financial information have faster connections than the average surfer.

In Norway we say, If you should bulid a house, you are not satisfied before the third house is built. This is an ongoing race between information and design and technical soultions. I prefer content, even if that could be ordered much better. The large link collection along the left edge of the index page is important links in my view. A lot of people will say too many links. E.G. W3Shools have the most about webdevelopement, but I offer the surfer more.

The sites I have included may have been screened better.

Life is to short to satisfie everybody, but I note your comment.

My last comment on this post, I hope.

thanks kgun and munky for point out some valuable points towards my site. But i must inform that the site is not created for adverts. Actually we just build it for our country and we want to add more data as we get feed back for New Emirates Layout. Munky as you said that most pages are not consistent to one another as because that are of OLD layout design and we not redesigned them yet.

anyway so you suggest that we people should work on new temp. or you have some other suggestions.
