Default i1254.com - A web tool ? Please comment...

i1254.com is a convenient search engines companion tool, which grouped almost 80 world-class search engines into ONE simple user-interface. Targeted region specific search and provide a smooth way to search through news and current issues, it is not mean to be a competitor to turboscout.com or bjorgul.com, but rather an extra option to the net-citizens. As i1254.com was designed to target to different market segment.

I developed the site some 2++ years ago which the prototype was really ugly(No color, no graphics....arrrgh!!), out of the opinion that I never get accurate search results after top 10 lists on any of the search engine I use, not to mention flip to second page for another 20++ results. Hence, it was frustrated to switch accross different search engines to obtain more accurate results.

That was the main cause of why I put the site into the web for public use.

More importantly, I need constructive suggestions on why would a visitor stick to my site, I mean under what circumstances will you visit i1254.com and stay long and also why you come then just go without second thought??

As to the best of my understanding, people surf the web are either coming for an application(like using search engine, emailing, gaming, chat, mp3, auction....) or content(like articles, news, products info....), but rarely for shopping.

i1254.com falls into application category. Consequently, I need critiques, be it good or bad, on how I can improve the usability as well as user experience with i1254.com

Thank you...

Default seems quite useful

Hi this could be a useful web seo tool for checking who your competitiors are on all your keywords. I was using with the toggle set on the search engine box. I could then use the mouse scroller and quickly move between the search engines for all the results. The look and feel is a bit basic but should be easy to update.

Default indeed

Yes I think there is someway to go to get as good as Nomez. Nomez is good for me as I have dual monitors and I can see exactly what the search engines are picking up on my site. Also the look and feel of Nomez is more professional.

I found the search box too high on the page. This is simply that G's is slap in the middle of eye-view. I got a 404 Not Found error by clicking the links in 'Scope'.

When I'd figured out how to use the site, it was quite good. Perhaps it needs simple instructions for clots like me?

What is the address of seenow? I did a www . seenow . com and got that it was for sale.

Other than that so far, the site looks good. Do you plan on having say like google does and give a site some code so they can put the search engine on a site?
