Why have popups on any of your pages? Does this mean your collecting info on anybody that visits your site.

Site looks good. Take off the popups.

Hi,

Thanks for the comment.

I think it's our free banner exchange that causing those popups.

Do you have any suggestions on how we can improve our site?

Thanks again.

Under NEW SITE
It does not make sense to me the numbers you have showen in brackets? I know when you click on them they show the number of new sites you are linked with but just having those numbers show just does not make sense to me.

I like you key word serch info.

In your tree area you might want to divide the headings more than what you got them. They all seem to run into each other.

I would have the site name just a bit bigger - currently in FF it is smaller than the description text. Also the review text is too big.

currency exchange not visible/working in FF

need a path to allow editing of a person's sumbitted site.

Nice approach

If you really want to get more traffic, you either need a big budget for ads, a big budget for links to compete in the SERPs, or a niche. Just trying to compete for "discount travel" isn't going to get you anywhere. Remember that sites like Expedia, Travelocity, Hotwire, Bestfares, Orbitz, and a whole slew of others already exist in this market.

Maybe you can specialize in cheap travel to select destinations... or make pages specifically about those. That should be considerably less competitive. Create some content on things to make sure you take on your trip, what to do if you have an accident on vacation, emergency contact numbers in other countries, special laws that people should be aware of in other lands, etc. There is a lot of room for building content on a travel site... it's just a matter of building it (and doing the research where necessary.)

Once people are there for your content, you can start branding with "Check our fares now" or "Bookmark us for your next trip". These won't necessarily pay dividends right now, but they should pay off rather quickly with your AdSense ads and some of the affiliate programs you have on there.

One last thing: Do you really think that people looking for travel want to quick submit to 10 search engines while they're booking a flight? I think I lost a few brain cells trying to figure out why that was there.

Brian.

Good point brian, I does make sense. especially the last part :).

Well, we're considering some major revisions in our website and comments like yours are very much appreciated.

Hope we could hear more from other gurus out there.

Thanks again for the help.

Default already reviewed?

I'm pretty sure that I've already reviewed this site... after looking at your code it looks like you made the necessary changes... the only thing that I would change at this point is to (as I said before) take the second set of adsense ads off... (it makes it too cluttered) I have a travel site too... www.TrendyTimeshares.com and Brian is right when he says be patient... the traffic will come it's a highly competitive market. My site didn't see much traffic for a few months...L8 M8

Get rid of the google ads in the middle. Put your link exchange info on a different page. Really does not need to be on the main page.

Might change your logo text. What you have is hard to read, looks blurry to me.

Your little weather box in the top left may not be working. It's telling me about the weather in Van Nuys, CAlifornia when I'm in Toronto, Ontario, CAnada.

I'm not sure what the "Keyword" (which should be "Keywords") is supposed to accomplish. It's one of those site features that's useful to the site owners and developers, but not many others. It's like a page counter. It's a frill in most cases.

The Top 10 Search Submission is similar to "Keyword". It's a frill, and doesn't apply to the people you're selling to.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that to me, it looks like one of those sites from the late 90s that was put together with a bunch of tools that really shouldn't have been used with one another (at least from a content standpoint.)
