Default For starters

As all feedback from me, I just try to be honest and direct, and any criticism is not meant to imply that I could do any better! Usually not! But I think 'the straight goods' are important to hear.

1. Colors: I like the colour scheme but found the upper parts of your page difficult to see. Need more contrast between text and background, and some might not like ANY background colour behind the text - this is always good to keep in mind.
2. Layout: You have used %'s to layout the table, but because the logo width="596" and your middle <td> width ="48%", the page does not size to an 800x600 screen. You need at least width ="80%" for that.
I am more comfortable with the search form being near the top somewhere, with more instruction as well, and I like the "Most popular searches" list, it adds 'stickiness' and gives ideas to simple folk like me :O). The search box above the quicklinks is my humble suggestion.
3. Navigation: About the only thing I can think to add, but this is an important point, is to have your logo be a link back to the 'home' page, and on the quicklinks - place "HOME" at the top.

I really like the focus of your site, those are the categories that I most use.
Good luck, hope this helps. I think your site is straight forward and attractive!

The text comes up nice and fast on my 56k modem although some of the graphics are a bit slow to load. I agree about being too wide for 800x600. The blue background is a little overpowering and makes the links near the top difficult to read - would help if the rollover was a brighter colour. Otherwise, a good design. Good luck with it.
