Hi,

I like the look of the site. I think the things that could be improved relate mostly to marketing issues. I don't mean this to be harsh, but hopefully helpful.

From the home page, I can't tell what your site is all about. You need a brief description of the objective of the site.

From looking at the other pages, I assume that you list and/or rank investments. I'd say that on the home page.

There is no About Us page or contact info other than an e-mail address. It may be difficult for people to consider your site an authority unless you tell them why you are an authority.

If it were me, I would make a page for Advertising Opportunities, rather than have the price for each advertising area on the pages. It looks less than professional. Also, I would get some companies to advertise there for free initially. No one will pay money IMO for an untested site. Show the advertisements in action. Then, when you want to sell some, it won't look like you're looking for your first customer.

The English grammar on the site needs to be edited. There are grammatical errors, and spelling errors.

I would make the Forum more obvious. It took me a while to realize that image is a link.

And, finally, I would consult with an attorney about your site. I'm not giving legal advice, but I would wager that an attorney would tell you to post some disclaimers. The site may be interpreted as giving investment advice, which could leave you vulnerable to law suits. An attorney who is familiar with the investment world would be able to give you the correct advice.

Hope this helps.

Kathleen

Ditto for me on the site. Other than that you have nice color scheme.

I`m from Poland, my English is not perfect, I give the mostly my experience, so I will propose to my friend in order to help me to correct these errors.

Hmm.. I did not think about it, perhaps I will place such text:

I'm glad you found my comments useful!

As to the disclaimer - I'd still talk to a lawyer. If you don't have a lot of budget, there may be online forums on legal issues. Maybe some opinions on whether it is an important issue will tell you whether you need to hire an attorney.

Or, if there is a university nearby, I wonder if a law professor would help, or use the question for a class or something.

I have no idea whether the statement you wrote is the right one. I know that real estate websites in the States say: "The broker providing this data believes it to be correct, but advises interested parties to confirm them before relying on them in a purchase decision. Information is deemed reliable but is not guaranteed."

I believe you might need something like that. Also, I don't know what the laws are in Poland concerning giving investment advice. Do you need to be registered or certified? Does your site even qualify as one that provides investment advice? These are definitely questions that I think require review by an attorney.

It is not so much a question of the authorities finding your site and taking action. My concern is that if someone using the site gets upset because they lost money, how much trouble could they cause for you, and how can you protect yourself?

How nice you know some law professors yourself!

Hopefully, there's no issue, but now at least you will know for sure.

Best of luck!
