Default www.romantic-weddings.com

Would greatly appreciate any feedbacks for the following site:
http://www.romantic-weddings.com

I used to receive about 2 or 3 inquiries per day from this site. However, when the new packages online, I only receive 1 or 2 inquiries per week.

I am not sure whether it is the packages which is "weak and not intersting" or the way I put them which is confusing.

Thank you in advance

The biggest thing I'd suggest would be the easiest; change your copy. When you rewrite, use the following words as much as reasonably possible:

You
Your
You're
Yours
You'll
You've

By using these words, you'll create an image in the customer's head subconsciously. (S)he will see him/herself in the South Pacific, having a nice romantic wedding.

The other thing you want to do is let people know they're supposed to inquire, and how to do it. You have the packages posted, and that's great. But so what? How does the user quickly and easily get in touch with you?

I see that you've got the address and phone number at the bottom of every page, which is good. But highlight this with a "Contact Us! We love to hear from you!" type of phrase, or move it up to the top right, perhaps. You've got the real estate there to do it if you want.

It is a lovely site - when did you have your drop in enquiries?

The packages themselves look amazing, but planning a wedding is such a big thing people want to be able to completely trust their wedding planner for the day so nothing goes wrong. You need to make sure your site is perfectly polished and consistent.

The main point I would make is that you have a spelling error on your main navigation - INQUIRY should be Enquiry

Scrolling all the way down to read all the packages (eg on the non-traditional weddings) is a bit of a pain from a lazy browsers' point of view as you can't flick between the different packages to quickly compare, so it might be nice to have some sub navigation.

A really nice looking site though, I hope enqiries pick up - bali is so beautiful. It is a shame there has been unrest there recently - Could there be any chance that the drop in enquiries is due to the attack there a couple yrs ago?

Hi Pagetta

Thanks alot for your review.

The inquiries starts to slow down about 3-4 weeks ago, after I uploaded the new packages. I checked using Google tools, there is no significant changes on numbers of searches using "bali wedding" related keywords. So I think there is nothing to do with the unrest a couple years ago.

BTW, I will take a look at the way I put the packages, it might need a sub navigation as you said.

Thanks alot pagetta

It could be the navigation matter (the way the packages listed) or the packages itself (prices or list of services offered for each package).

Try to compare with other websites with the same keywords.

THe biggest thing that I found wrong from a copy point of view is simply that it doesn't focus enough on the customer.

"You"
"Your"
"You're"
"You've"
"You'll"
"Yours"

These are the words you really need to focus on.

Also, you need to have some sort of call to action...what's the user supposed to do to order the package? Give them a form for a lead inquiry. Give them an 800 number. Give them something.

Beautiful site.

Nice clean code also. A rare thing on sites at times.

As for comments.. I agree witht he others above. Minor wording changes would make the site more readable and increase the "Sale" of the site.
