I like it. It looks like it's been a great learning tool for you as well.

The fees page is just really way to blank for me. Place a Google Adsence in there and make a little moola from it.

Also, might be a little too techie on the details on front page. Most have no idea what your talking about they are there to sell or buy. So, reword that to we have worked on speeding up the site or something.

The top three icons .. way too dark until rollover. If you can make the words change color with them so it's a set. Or, make them bigger and a much smoother light color and the rollover should be clear colors and easy to see.

<meta name="Keywords" not sure if what you have there is going to help so much. Think about using more phrases and your targets. Buyers and Sellers.

Maybe check out what the big boys are using on their auction sites.. =)

Overall.. I think you might do well with this.

I have one question ... where was this site when I was in college ? God I could have used it back then !!!.

As commented above the only flaw I see is the 3 icons at the top are to dark.

i signed up for google adsense and will try that out.

i also got rid of the technical news updates on the main page.

i changed the icons up top so that they're bright and then on mouse over they're dark, so just the opposite of before, let me know what you think of this.

what would be good keyword phrases that i'm missing? i tried to model them after what i found on big sites like ubid.com and ebay.com...
