Default Site Review: peteromoore.com

Easy on the eyes, quick views of essential notes and links. The pages are internally linked well for navigational ease. The code however, has no character encoding. I'd suggest utf-8 simply because search engines seem to like it better, but depending on language and date formats you choose to use may affect which is more effective.

Also, if the service of the company is not geographically indicative to Ireland / Irish, I'd suggest removing it from the <title> to give your other title keywords more relevancy.

Finally, I'd scale back some of the single keywords, reducing the total to around five (no more than ten) more relevant 2-3 keyword phrases. You're not likely to get any search engine hits on "ireland" or "free downloads" but you might hit on "free ireland downloads" as a newer site.

Hope this helps. Please take a shot at FreshDames http://www.freshdames.com

Thanks!

On your abour us page, all the links in the right side go nohwere. As do the "Copyrite" (misspelling), sitemap, and Printable format links on the bottom of each page. Your employee self service link on the left side does nothing. The left lower for links go nowhere. Your organize a demonstration link does nothing. Your Products, user area, and contact us links on top go nowhere. I am guessing by the number of links that don't work, you haven't finished that part yet.

On the safari browser (Mac) the login box has some sort of links directly on top of the box, making look like gibberish. It appears to be the text that was meant for the middle box, which is blank. I assume that is the scroller part, that doesn't work.

I like the general look of the site, but it is a bit buggy at the moment. I am no expert at web design, just giving my impressions of the site.

I have two sites that I wouldn't mind comments on http://www.lvfinancing.com and http://www.learningmeasure.com, both are incomplete, but I would appreciate any comments.

thanks in advance,

David Archer

Default review

On my Win XP laptop (IE) there is news scrolling over the logon area. If I click to log in the browser opens to another page and doesn't let me fill in the fields.

I like the layout and colorscheme.

Default LVFinancing.com

Hi Archer, sorry for the delay in reviewing your site but have not been on here in a while, I had a look at your site LVFinancing.com.

The site is very simple and doesnt look as if much work went into it, all the links are fine and work.

If i was going on to a finance site and was going to committ to a loan i would look for a more professional looking site, just my opinion but i would put more work into the layout and design and put more detail on the site like what exactly you do and who you do it for.

http://www.learningmeasure.com

This is a lot nicer site than the previous one. I have only 2 things to say.

1. The links on the left hand side of the page put some css on them and change the color to white and a smaller font as it will look a lot cleaner.

2. I tend to prefer a smaller display i think the sites that stretch with your screen resolution dont look as well as fixed layouts.

Hi Freshdames,

I tried to review your site, but unfortunately my work server will not allow me access your website as it is obviously picking up something in it that it doesnt like.

Sorry about that

I am viewing your site in Firefox, and the "Intelligo Software News." is blown out of the box - otherwise, I think it looks very sharp.

When I clicked on the Sitemap link it took me to http://templates.doteasy.com/ErrorPages/error404/ -

From a SEO perspective, you should name your pages with hyphens instead of underscores - the SE's will read anything with underscores as one word.

Otherwise, I think the site conveys a nice level of professionalism.

Good Luck!
