| Submit Your Site For Review Need a fresh set of eyeballs to take a look at your site? Have a specific issue or question about some aspect of your layout, design or interface? This is the forum for you. When submitting your site, be sure to discuss what aspect you are looking for input on. Just posting a link with the word 'review' isn't appropriate. |

Yes we are looking at including an adult filter, which is either on or off based on user preferences, and will be set as On by defualt for a new surfer. I forgot to mention you can access this in your phone also right here: wap.thephonecam.com (providing you have wap ability of course) That allows a user to log-in and comment on pics as well as download. "I think you have some very unrealistic keywords that may be counter productive in obtaining search engine hits. It would serve well to do some research on keyword phrases relevant to your content. " Which keywrods are you referring to? Meta tags? - these are not fixed really, we stuck them in without much of a thought and have yet to consider search results ;) as we are still tweaking. |

Here's a quick reality check. You're a brand new site, with little or no SERP, little or no Google Page Rank.
Take one of your keyWORDS and do a search in the major engines. For example, "cell phones" will bring up nearly 60 million results in Google, whereas "cell phone pics" only return about 6 million, and further still, "spears cell phone images" only bring up about one million. Given your site's infancy, I think you'll find it easier to INITIALLY go after a smaller niche of keyword PHRASES than trying to compete against higher volume keywords or smaller phrases. Using too many keywords will reduce the concentration/ratio of other words or phrases that would otherwise get better results. BLUF (Bottom line up front): Use the Site Report Card link in the sticky of this forum, check out your keyword percentages, and then go to your favorite engine and begin testing combinations that will match your content and employ a smaller concentration of solid phrases, not words. When you start getting better "liked" by the search engines you can further tweak and vie for more competive keywords and shorter phrases. Four months ago, I was only getting about 500 hits from search engines per day; now my top 20 search strings alone pulled in nearly 25000 visitors in March. Good luck!

Appreciate your knowledge it's not unwanted, but this is just a fun project for us to be honest. If people start using it through word of mouth then cool.
I will however check out your SEO opinions for some other projects. Cheers and best of luck ;) |

Hi,
I personally develop a lot of community website and have seen a lot of website with similar nature develop into very profitable website. I think personally you need to look at the direction you are heading, although the adult market is a big business without the appropriate warning messages and control on the adult content you might find yourself in trouble. Displaying adult content is all well and good but it doesn’t take a lot these days for people to make a complaint and the authorities to start investigating. I personally wouldn’t take the risk and if you aim to profit from this website you will need to take a good look into this issue. - Mark |
