Any input on www.psjanitorial.com would be appreciated. My big push lately has been optimization for our broader keywords, so that's my main concern right now; but of course any success there could be weakened by usability issues with the site (or if visitors just think it's ugly). Take a look... you never know what you'll find next in the exciting world of janitorial supplies!
Thanks! |

You forgot the hot new thing -- tag clouds.

Good call, DCrux. I'll have to give some thought to how to implement that. I'm guessing these are typically user-driven? My only concern is that with our industry, I don't know how excited our site visitors are going to get about tagging floor wax. Who knows, though - I might be surprised.
Thanks for your input. |

Pig online sells spill absorbents. They could have used the excuse of "boring product" and nobody would have faulted them. Instead they used imaginative copywriting to increase sales, generate word-of-mouth, and win catalog design awards.

Good point. They have a great PR, & top G ranking for "spill absorbents" & "industrial absorbents" - likely among their top targeted key phrases. They're #2 for "absorbents".
I must admit that a motion activated oinker would have been beyond the scope of my imagination, but ideas like this appear to have worked for them. |
