I'm sorry I can't really comment on the design because my screen fills up with lots of unknown characters, etc.

However - the website is extremely slow to load - who is hosting it!?

Adbart, the site is in Chinese. The author only wants feedback on overall look and feel.

It was a bit slow for me - 10 to 20 seconds, and I'm on a DSL line. But I suppose some of that slowness could be caused by downloading of the Chinese characters in addition to the graphics. Your target markey probably already has the characters so unless Chinese speaking users complain I wouldn't worry about it.

I think the layout is nicely balanced. The graphics are cute. No alt tags though. You might consider putting them in for the graphics - especially on the graphics that you use for navigation.

On a few sub pages I can see "40%" and "70%" mixed in with the characters and am wondering it those are typographical errors?

On your products page I was expecting to see some pictures so that I could get a better idea of what your site is about, but :-( no pictures.

The demo page IS very slow. Maybe reduce the colors in the pictures to 256 colors instead of 16 mil.
Your 1.jpg is 102kb but when reduced to 256 colors it becomes 24kb - a big difference!

I know that. I was simply saying that I couldn't see much of what was going on. The layout of the page messed up because the 'unknown character' boxes are larger than the type.

The site is very slow to load.

Don't be so defensive, it's unbecoming to a reviewer. Are you receiving a message that says "unknown characters"? What browser do you use? Perhaps this author hasn't test properly for different browsers.

My page view in IE came right up fairly quickly the second time (this go around). Plus the page layout is quite clean and well balanced. I think the initial slowness must have been my browser's loading the chinese font characters.

In my netscape 7 and Opera browsers the http://www.eclickchat.com site loaded within 10 seconds and looks fine.

OOOOPS! There are many missing alt tags, so to a visually disabled person, your site is not very useful.

Layout looks ok,

but the load times are killing me.. it took like 45 seconds for the first of the text to load.

On one note. the links on the right sould be a different color and underlined to give a visual que that they are links not just text. Also the menu at the top does not stand out very well . Maybe change the background color for the menu ?
