Default site review

Very nice work. The color scheme is very soothing.

I noticed some alt-tags were missing, and on the image map the links to the Legend, How to Reach, Mandir etc,. had no title tags. A visually handicapped person would have difficulty navigating.
Do this to your browser: in IE Tools, Internet Options, Advanced: click off the show pictures box and then navigate your pages. What you will not see will surprise you.

You might think of offering text equivalents to your graphics images. - and possibly give an English translation for all us ignoramuses who only speak English. (I think we're still the majority of Internet users??)

The sub pages are left-aligned. I think centered pages look more attractive.

That's about it!

Don't center it. I think the left align goes with the art work on the left.

Loads very fast. You might add to home on each page.

I'd agree with webhost1, with the additional suggestion that you set a left margin of about 50 or so pixels so that you can see those characters.

I think the background colour is perhaps a little too dark, although I can see how it would have a soothing property.

But your biggest problem is that there really isn't a call to action. You've got information on a religious concept that seems, at best, rather abstract. But where does the user go from here? There are no useful links. There are two events with no information that I could find on them. There are no forums for further discussion. In other words, if you want people to follow your religion, what should they do?

It's a good start, but it's also a dead end.

Default huh?

Are we all talking about the same web site?
www.nainadevi.com

The background for me is a light peach color, home page is nicely centered, subpages all jammed to the left. That transition is jarring for me.

No, I don't like all backgrounds. This background goes with the subject matter and frankly is not unexpected for an Indian religious site.

I stress that visually impaired people will see your site as a virtual blank page.

This is very intersting. Just about everyone that has looked at this site has a different look for it. Makes you wonder what everyone else see's in one of our own sites.
