I think I've done everything possible to make this a great site. Please correct me if I'm wrong. My living depends on it.

The prices are carefully checked often to represent the best possible value. The site is secure and registered with ISIS. I have an affiliate scheme on two networks, I'm building links, page rank is OK and improving.

Any suggestions for improvement are very, very welcome. Thank you for your help.

Love the design, it's great.

Very accessible, easy to read, navigate, and see the products etc.

Good work!

That's kind of you, thanks. I just wish Google liked it as much as you do.

Your site design is very nice and professional looking. Good job.

Your competition is fierce I imagine since there are so many jewellry sites on the internet. You must find a nitch, something that makes your site rise above the rest.

Keywords on your page are fairly generic and the keyword ampalian brings up exactly NO results.

You need to do some indepth keyword analyis so that you can better focus your traffic.

Use these link to find keyword phrases to bring visitors to site

https://adwords.google.com/select/tools.html
https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordSandbox

Another idea is to get the google nav bar so that when you go to a competitor's site you can right-click to see what they use.

That's it!

Snowflakegirl, Where are you searching!?? Google brings up over 15,000 results, and this site is top. See image below.

Malcolm: When did you launch the site? If you're not getting much traffic from Google then it may well be because you've been sandboxed.

Can you give me some more info?

The site has been live since October. Current traffic averages about 120 uniques per day and there are 132 registered account holders.

As far as Google is concerned yes, it probably is sandboxed. Google would also love me to spend big bucks on adwords of course. DMOZ listing still illudes me also, nothing new there.

I don't expect to get to #1 is such a competitive market. The market however is huge and I'm happy to do a good job of a small slice of it. I'm working hard on the key words and links.

Adbart,

Your Google search screen print knocks the WebProForum screen out of whack. Reduce the size will you?

Your search was not with the UK Google criteria. Min was. Notice the spelling of Jewelry in this site as: Jewellery.

Ampalian's site is in the UK, therefore I searched the site's keywords using Google's UK criteria. In this criteria Ampalian brings exactly NO results.

Maybe this is the crux of ampalian's problem, the USA English search will ignore jewellery in favor of jewelry and other UK words but picks up ampalian...hmmm.

I still suggest more research is needed by Ampalian to hone in on those UK those keywords. Ampalian might also consider joining a few quality web rings and network with other smaller companies.
