Mikie,

The site layout looks good.

I would try to put a little padding around each loan company/description...pull the text away from the sides of the table cell.

Unless you intend on putting more text per loan company have the link go right to their site. The extra page isn't doing anything and it took me a second to realize it's not a blank page but a link to the site...again.

Throw your CSS into it's own page and access it with the
Code:
<link rel='stylesheet' type='text/css' href='#'>
tag. Easier to manage if you get more pages.

SEO-wise I would put some more multi-word keywords in your keyword meta tag. home loans, mortgage loans, borrow money, etc.

Maybe write a couple pages about loans and/or things to look for in a loan(fees, etc.). Then you can have a few links across the top to these pages...providing more keyword rich content.

Default site review

I really don't like being sent to a new intermediary page (http://www.loanfinderuk.com/easy-loans.html) every time I selected a link. This site is just a front to existing loan companies.

Why not just direct link to the sites and lose the middleman stuff?

Default thanks snowflakegirl....

yeh, i agree with the intermediary pages bit, i dont like it either, but i was thinking about trying to make the site look bigger than it is to the search engines??? do you think it would be misconstruded as spam??? or shall i just forget it & go with the direct link???

thanks in advance .... mikie.

Default intermediary links

Unless you make your page more valuable by placing content people want to read or learn about there's nothing special about a page that just exists to provide links. I doubt search engines will catalogue the page and if they did it would be ranked fairly low. The big questions to ask yourself are:

What does my site have that no one else offers?
What makes my site more interesting to visit than my competitor's site?

Here are a couple of links that may help: (They helped me!)
