Hi,

I'd suggest a couple things. First, the site confused me. Are youCI2 Webstudio? I can't tell if the site is for web designers or software to design it yourself?? And, what is Fantastico? It just kinda pops up there.

Also, it doesn't look like the site would be viewable on an 800x600 screen without scrolling?

Probably could say something more meaningful if you could tell us the objective for the site.

Kathleen

I think your site is cluttered and way too confusing.

Two things to get you started:

1. That header image - rethink it, both in terms of design, and size ( like someone else said, its too big for visitors on lower resolutions )

2. Fonts! Use Tahoma/Verdana at 8-10pts at the max. Times New Roman looks tacky and unprofessional.

You might be better off making your site in Frontpage if you didn't already! If you're planning to sell your web development services on to others, I would spend a lot more time developing your own site if I were you.

I don't mean to be harsh at all, but you've got lots of work to do on that site. Good luck with that.

The site is for design and hosting services. I was thinking about reducing the header for 800 viewers.

What do you mean by cluttered?

I don't mind negative constructive comments as long as I can use them to improve mysite. :)

Sure. It gives the look of being cluttered because there's not much design continiuty. Your Flash header at the top is very glossy and snazzy, but doesn't tie in very well with the bright, white background, as well as the jet black text (you need to change the font face as well).

The two 'featured sites' boxes on each side box in the text a bit, especially as there's not much else in those columns, apart from the 'leave a message' image on the left hand side, which incidentally, you should probably re-size so that it matches the rest of the column in terms of width.

If I were you, I'd shift over the featured boxes to one side of the page (right or left, whatever you prefer), and put one above the other.

The little flash animation at the bottom of the page isn't particularly appealling, you should probably consider cutting that out altogether, but it's up to you.

Hope there's a few pointers that might help you. Best of luck.

IMO you're losing alot of valuable space that could be used for relevant text. The side boxes are too big and could be reduced by half without losing their impact. It would help to reduce the amount of scrolling needed to read your text which is 'bunched' due to space restraints.
