Default Our new website - Love to have your opinions!

We will be launching a new version of our MailWorkZ site in a couple of weeks. I would really appreciated it if a number of you could look at the new version and give me your thoughts. The site is in a test environment at http://142.176.138.24 - it may load a bit slow. If you have the time I have set up a 10 question online survey to gauge results. The survey can be found at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=4726971833
It would be great if you could fill this out.

Pricing of the product is set to a couple cents for testing purposes - however the registration information sent will not work :)

Default Nice looking site

Hi,

I checked the site in Firefox 1.0.2, and must congratulate you on a very crisp and nice looking site. Scaling the fonts caused little or no break-up of the page.

You appear to be missing several SEO tricks. The first I spotted is not having 'title' text set on all your links, checking the HTML of the home page uncovered a few things might help:

1. Tables are used for layout, and there is no use of CSS. Using CSS would seriously simplify the HTML, and remove the need for the JavaScript - both of which are serving to obscure the site's content from the spiders.

2. The site will not validate. There's no 'doctype' for starters, spiders prefer valid HTML.

3. The page doesn't make use use of a document structure. Using <h1>, <h2> tags etc. is another opportunity to make your site more spider friendly.

I didn't proof all the text but I did spot the following:

Products: Broadcast

"Broadc@st is MailWorkZ's powerful, user-friendly software that will allows you to increase your profits, strengthen your customer"

"that will allows" needs fixing.

Also I couldn't find any indication if this product is mail server, or makes use of the customers' existing mail infrastructure - an important point (for me anyway, as my ISP blocks mass mailing through its SMTP system) you almost got a customer!

In the knowledge base, I couldn't find an obvious way back to the home page, and you can't click on the logo as you can elsewhere.

I hope this helps, good luck with the site.

The design is appealing and clean. Try to bring your coding and page structure up to current standards.

VERY nice! I found it to be clean, easy to navigate, and very professional-looking. The only quibble I would have, and it is a small one, but I would make a little more separation between the navigation and the main text to help with clutter.

Nice and simple. But you should use CSS instead of the tables.
