I thought I'd give this a try and see what you guys think of Defenestration (website wise), and online literary magazine dedicated to humor.

We've had some compliments regarding the site, but recently someone mentioned the site "lacked content" and nothing "jumped out" at them. So, see what you think:

Checking real quick, the pics take too long to download. Further optimization (with no visible loss) reduces opening graphic from 90K to 57K

and as already said, the large pic. files could be cut in half without any prob. esp. being in b/w.

did you omit meta tags for a reason? or are they coming? i just figured out the purpose of a doctype myself. look up on this forum in the site design section, subject: "DOCTYPE vs. charset=ISO-8859-1"

do you already have a following from craigslist.org?
