Tested in IE6 56k modem 800x600. Loads reasonably fast. I don't find the opening text very convincing - needs a little bit more to entice people to explore the site. Otherwise, a very nice design. Good luck with it.

I would have to concur with the first response that you need more compelling content on the first page to convince people of your capabilities. It seems to be very difficult for webmasters to do their own websites. It's kind of like the cobblers kids syndrome. I know my own page sucks compared to the type of work I do for my clients. I like the way you've built your page for 800x600 and centered it and your use of a grey background and shadings of grey in the page. I especially like the yellow footer with the page links. Anyway, a nice color scheme imho.
I don't like the sparkly stuff - distracting. Really, that whole blue background header doesn't say anything and something better should be occupying that space. The blank box menu scheme at the top is pretty cool, but why make people hunt for the main selections? Anyway, I hope this doesn't come off as being too caustic and this is just my opinion. Good luck! Bob Green www.bobgreen.com |
