Default Please Review www.luxurychair.com

Hey,

We just had our website redesigned and really would like to get feedback as to what can be improved on this site...

Any bit of information would be appreciated.

Thank you!

First off, the layout is too wide for many monitor resolutions - table width="1000". On an 800 x 600 screen resolution, your site has side-to-side scrollbars, which is very annoying to visitors.

The main graphic of people writing is just way too big and much too prominent.

The images of your chairs on the home page I see are dynamically generated from the enlarged photos of your products - this s/b changed to an image specifically for your homepage so the quality is better and the file size is smaller. Your home page took awhile to load on my 3MB cable since the overall page size is 621.69 KB. Reducing the image and file size would help a great deal.

Let's take your Contessa Teknion as an example. The image is actually 252 pixels wide by 412 pixels high (file size = 304 kb!) but it's being forced into a space on the page that's 100 pixels wide by 163 pixels high. This does not reduce the file size, just the quality.

Overall, the quality of your images are generally poor and the layout of the product pages feels a bit lopsided to me with too much white space under the product. It doesn't convey the clean and contemporary feel of your product.
