Default Site Review McLamb.us

It was an old school project but alot of people post and still email me actually using it. I'm feeling it needs a new or updated look. I've tried a few but I'm not the most creative person. Any suggestions?

The URL is www.mclamb.us.

Actually, I'd add a forum, and leave it as-is. The design is clean, easy to use, simple to read, fast loading, etc.

Even with the dark background, it's not difficult to get at what you're looking for immediately.

For what it is, it's nearly perfect..

I second that. I'm usually pretty picky. That site is very clean.

Thanks for the reviews, one more question though. I made a pretty simple but still very functional fourm a while ago with a login and register system so users could verify there identity. I was tinkering on the idea that it would keep people coming back to see there posts, if anyone replied and any new information. The problem is I'm not too sure my target audience would be willing to register and login. I feel alot of people including myself think, 'i have tons of useful info for this site but i really dont want to have to register'.

Any thoughts on this?

edit: just another pro for the register i could eliminate spam emails to users and spam going into my guestbook which i regularly have to manually delete.
