Default Ahorre.com = Save.com

Good evening,

would you please review and share some thoughts on www.ahorre.com.

www.ahorre.com translates into english as Save.com I am going to target the Hispanic market so you will view some blend between english and spanish pages.

Your insight is gladly appreciated.

I think you have a good site. It has really fast load time.

The only thing i didn't understand was why have page 1, page 2 and so on. Why not tell what it is? I didn't mind the mix of spanish and english, thought it gave the site something extra.

Overall, though, a good site.

I haven't finalized the page. So I have manintained the top four tabs with numbers as opposed to description of linked page.

Ima, what speed are you dsl or dial up. Is it centered on browser?

Very attractive site. It loaded fast using DSL. It was centered using 800 x 600 and using 1024 x 768.

If I was a potential customer, I would leave your site as I don't speak or read any spanish. I can't read page 1 at all and on the right side of the screen it looks like there is something to log into, but I can't tell because it is in spanish.

You did say that you were going to target the Hispanic market, but what if some of them don't speak spanish. (Or maybe not speak english)

Just a thought, but how about a site completely in english and one completely in spanish.

Great job overall.

Default Ahorre.com = Save.com

Mucho appreciation for your feedback,

One of my challenges in having a U.S. Hispanic focus for www.ahorre.com, is language.

ComScore data provides language preferences. Today their are over 13 million U.S. hispanics online. Their data is based on 50,000 hispanic users. U.S. Hispanic Internet users, 51% prefer to use English. 21% prefer Spanish and 27% share English and Spanish.

While this site targets U.S. market it easily taps into Central and South America (19 countries) where usage is primarily in spanish. I have nothing to offer or sell them due to credit card fraud. Keep one thing in mind, "ahorre" means "save" it's very general.

I'm aware that the sites success will be driven by seperate english and spanish micro-sites. But this can be time consuming.

Can somebody test loading on 56K. Please

Gracias

Default Are you ready for review?

I'm also a bit confused with Page1, Page2, Page3, Page4.

If these are just placeholders, then the site is not ready yet. If the site is not ready yet, then why ask to review it?

Default ahorre.com

geoffreygag,

Nice site! To answer your questions..

1. How is loading time?
> I didn't have any problems loading your Home Page.

2. Site still needs more work. But, I'm concerned of with either over / under representation of some images.
> I think you have a good mix of images... However, if you're targeting the U.S. and Hispanic markets, would you consider adding some Spanish-influenced images?

I noticed that when I selected the Spanish language option, only the words changed...perhaps to better cater to the Hispanic market, you might want to add different images.

Also, how difficult was it to add that "language option"? I'm new to web marketing, so that's something we wouldn't mind looking at.

Lastly, for your Pages 1,2,3,4. It might help to label them for ease of navigation.

Best, and Happy Holidays!
Jonny

Hello Jonny,

thank you for feedback.

You caugt on a good idea i will consider. Appaprently, you're suggesting that I put some latin market images in order to appeal better to my target market. I will do. I haven't been able to act on that earlier since I'm trying to be selective on product selection.

Your question:

Also, how difficult was it to add that "language option"? I'm new to web marketing, so that's something we wouldn't mind looking at.

The language option is just placing another image .jpg or .gif and place link to your spanish index page.
