Affiliate Shoes Site

Hello Folks,

Any feedback you can give me on my site would be greatly appreciated. I get lots of clickthroughs but
not many sales.

Any insight would be a big help.

Well for starters.. it's very dull. There are no photos of shoes. Need to feature some and show the price. Also need to make it easy to search for them. WIth sytles and drop down selections.

After clicking a link or two it was easy to tell that this is an affiliate program. If your counting on sales.. you really should consider a few things.

#1 Make your website worth shopping at.

#2 Feature some shoes ( search for top sellers )

#3 Consider using a template. Give your site style.

You have the traffic and that's great. Your just loosing them within the 1st 10 sec's. You have to give them something to look at too.

Be ready for a sale the moment they come to the site. I did not see any Buy Now - or Today's Special.

Cookies.. if customers are not accepting cookies. You might be making sales but your not going to make any money or very little.

Anti-Virus Programs and Service Pack Updates have changed basic settings in computers in the past few months and affiliates are crying all over the place.

Solution.. consider a members area that offers discounts. Make sure that a cookie is required to signup. Then.. when they shop. Cookies are more likely to be accepted.

You will have to do this in a nice and polite way and still make them feel confortable. Images with instructions on how to accept cookies.

If you don't do something like this.. your making someone else rich!

I opened it and closed it, it does not look like a shoe site. It looks like a spam site(no offense). I would look at some of the sites that are in the same market as you are and see what their doing that works compared to what your doing that doesn’t.

I think Snerdey pretty much covered it and I had the same reaction as Jason.

Give it some design elements and fill it with useful information. Give people a reason to come to your site other than to click onto your affiliate links.
