Default Great Gift

This is hilarious, I do like this and I've never seen it before so good luck.

I like the general layout it is a tad cluttered for my personal taste, but on browsing through, it all makes sense and there is a definite sense of humour that comes through in the text and graphics. I only have some minor suggestions.

1) The "home" link gets a little lost on your internal pages. You might want to move it to your main navigation bar or at least make it more noticeable tucked up in the corner.

2) The samples play well and very easily - impressive - except for the one on the Pet page. Your site disappeared and I just got a blank white screen with my Quicktime playback bar. Really, you want this one to play in the same way as all the others.

3) The load time is rather long on your home page. I have a T1 connection and had to wait. Take a look at your images and consider optimizing them better for the sight. You really want their individual load time to be 2-3 seconds at a low dial-up speed.

The load time is the only real issue, for someone surfing from a standard dial-up, your home page might be inaccessible - people don't like to wait.

Good use of dark background colours, by the way.

Again, great idea.

Yes - good idea and like the sense of humour throughout. My first thoughts were confusion that this could be a pet website. I would move the banner ad with the dogs/kittens down to the bottom of the page as it clashes with your pages look & feel quite jarringly. Copyright date still says 2003 - I always notice that (don't know if others do...)?

Great site and fun concept! I like the site overall and hope you find success.

I agree that the pet banner needs to be moved down on the page - your content needs to be front and center (and top).

Good luck!
