Paul

I love the site. It loads extremely quickly on my DSL, the design is great, and the navigation works well.

The only comment I would have is that when I first saw the home page, I wasn't sure what the site was for. Until I noticed the cart icon, I didn't know if it was someplace to buy stuff or find out about stuff. Until I read the Categories, I wasn't sure what kind of stuff you carry. I'd suggest putting a tag line or something at the top for folks like me who aren't familiar with your company.

Other than that, you did a great job.

Kathleen

My only comment on the design is that it looks like the default OSCommerce cart - consider finding a template (there are lots of free ones out there for OSCommerce), or revise your design it so it looks more unique and not so obvious that you're using OSCommerce.

Since you're selling online and need to instill trust in your company, create an About Us page. Consider adding your company contact info somewhere in a sidebar so it's always visible.

It looks ok, but why not have a better intro.

'IsellgoodproductsatexcellentpricesanddeliverwhenI say Iwill'

or somesuch.

Good luck

Sure looks like an osCommerce site but I couldn't see any reference to it. Normally folks have the "powered by osCommerce" logo on there somewhere. Isn't that part of the deal in using osCommerce and other open source/GPL products?

First thing you MUST do is get rid of this line

"Hello Guest! Would you like to log in? Or create an account? "

If possible get rid of that feature altogther - it just drives sales away.

Other than that your site looks same ol' same ol as millions of other of these php and cart sites. BORING!!

Work on content. The web is not about databases and catalouges - it is about people, needs and wants...

I agree with Matt - people don't want to be forced to create an account in order to shop. OSCommerce has an add-on that does away with account requirements so check in the forum for that.
