Labrynth, while I admire your enthusiasm in getting a site online...we are going to have to pull the reigns in a little.

Your jumping in too fast to get it online. Your not sitting back & planning what you want to do.

You put a post up in Site Design asking about the do's & dont's, and as much as I hate to rain on any youths parade....you have covered just about all the donts :-)

Some good posts got put up there with some good links. Have a read thru them, then sit back & look at your site... I wonder how many times you nod & say "oh yeah!".

But by no means give up. Some of the most talented designers in here had some real shockers when they started...some as little as a couple of years ago! :-)

So go back & read that thread you started in site design, and go for it!! :-)

Yeah, don't give up whatever you do!

You MUST get over that fixation with red text on a blue background :)

It kills my eyes, and like I said in your other site review thread, that seems to apply to the entire human race, because it is a definite DON'T in the list of dos and don'ts.

<Note: For some reason, red text on a blue background always reminds me of that game 'Operation'.

I had it when I was a kid, and I can remember being more interested in the MB logo (MB games distributed it) and how I couldn't focus my eyes on the blue and red text on red and blue backgrounds respectively :)>
