First of all, I love your design for compu-guy. It looks great. But it annoyed me to no end to click on your Message Board and have my browser crash - I'm using Mozilla. I tried it a second time and it crashed again. You should probably get that fixed.

As for the second site, the basic design and layout of it is good, but it takes forever to download on DSL. I'm not sure how much was the size of the images, how much was due to the java programming and how much of it may have been due to other factors, but anyone trying to view your site from a dialup connection is going to be run off in a BIG hurry.

Default I gotta fix that Mozilla Problem

SyrenSong,
Just a quick question. What version of mozilla are you using? I am running Mozilla Firebird .6 and it seems to work fine on all my machines. I really appreciate your input.

Thanks, Mike Bruneau

Default compu-guy.com review

Both your business site and your personal site are pleasant.

Your business site doesn't provide adequate information for me to view it as a real business. Although it may be polite in many regards, it is not professional to thank someone for visiting a web site upon arrival. You should be capturing their interests on your index page and then elaborate further on the subsequent pages. Tell people what your talents are.

I don't know if you are the only employee, but you also need to posture yourself and your business. Make it seem larger than it really is. Appearing small gains nothing.

I'm using Mozilla 1.3 and had no problems with your phpBB section. Although, for your particular situation, you'd be better off making that section a protected section for clients to contact you. My advice is to create a client login area that you can use to provide support to your clients. Each client would have their own area and you could have tickets generated for support tracking.

I hope this helps.
