Default Greetings Disco Citizens...my first website, suggestions?

Hello All,
I have the following website http://www.beavercreektowing.com
This is the first website I have ever designed and I am looking for feedback. I am very interested in any suggestions to get my site to rank higher on Google and Yahoo using the keywords "Portland" and "Towing". I have made the text of the home page more keyword rich since it was last crawled so I am not sure of my page's current ranking.
When does keyword usage in the text become spam, how many times can the keywords appear in the text?
Thanks for your input.

For starters, you might have a problem competing with "Towing" or "Portland" as individual keywords. A quick check of Google got me 3,860,000 results for towing, and 29,100,000 for "Portland"!

You might want to consider key phrases over key words. A search for "Portland Towing" netted a lot less whoppin' 80,700 results. Try to go after terms your customers are most likely to type into google or MSN searches.

Also, go list your company on every Towing related directory you can, especially those that list towing companies in Portland Oregon.

As for how many keywords you can use before it becomes spam, it depends on the engine. I wouldn't think what you have now is over the top, but the text on many pages is identical, and should be revised to say the same thing using different wording.

If this is the first site you've done, I'm looking forward to seeing what you can crank out in 10 years! Good Job!

Default Thanks, for the input

I hear what your saying about the keyword phrases, I must do a little more research to determine exactly what the best phrases are.Hmmmm, anybody have any suggestions on what you would type into a search engine to find a towing company in Portland, Oregon?
At any rate, thanks for the input...

Just a few points about you site from a layman, as requested.

I like your company you seem to do everything needed to do with cars and car recovery. What I feel needed is that a few tweaks to you site that would enhance it and improve the overall feel in my opinion.
I would like to see a better heading instead of just large pink lettering. Even pink lettering drop shadowed or bevelled/embossed would improve it, maybe a pink truck logo or clip-art would not go amiss. I would also like to see this style used at the head of every page.
I feel your thumbnail pictures are too wide and do not fit into your background properly making me have to scroll to the right needlessly. Also there is no return arrow from the larger picture back from clicking on the thumbnail.
I don`t really like you button choices. The change to green on mouseover is to slow and does not fit into you colour scheme. I think it would work better with smaller more dynamic buttons.
Your text would look better centred as you have it on you Contact Us page. Your text should all be the same colour, size and font on some pages it`s bold or blue or black or whatever.
I also think you should use bullet lists especially on you Roadside Assistance page, instead of highlighted blue words. I kept clicking on these thinking they were links.

Just a few gripes..
