Hi,
My company has tasked me to create a website that will allow it's members to be opinionated and will serve as a place with several features such as dating, auction, freelance etc..
It is still in the construction phase, but I would value any and everyone's opinion " no pun intended".
Just give me your comments and ideas or just tell me if it's a good enough idea or if the site looks professional enough and it has the potential of being profitable or not.

There are a lot of these sites, like Epinions. Other sites, like Amazon, offer opinion in the form of review. Should we broaden our definition of opnion sites just a little, we might turn up the other word for this type of site: Forums.

And there is a bit of oversupply in that market.

Changing the word forum to opinion does not provide money making potential. Were you to have some means of getting key opnion leaders, there might be some chance. In other words, this type of site needs a critical mass strategy. Existence is not a strategy.

I never thought of it as being close to Epinions nor Amazon, but thanks and I will take a closer look at it. We did try and set our selves aside from everyone else by having not only and Opinion Forum but all the additional feature all under one Login and for one fee. Thanks again for looking it over and I will take all comments and suggestions and improve off of them.

The site is professional enough in appearance, but only you truly know your target market. I found it simple to navigate and pretty intuitive.

I would reccomend checking your grammar a bit.

on the main page:
'...Forums and Opinionated topics, and Chat...'
should be changed to:
'...Forums, Opinionated topics and Chat..."

This isn't really the type of site I personally frequent, but I know that a LOT of people do.
