Hi kooledge,
I think you need more infomation on your home page something that tells about your company your web site and why I should buy from you.

I would also work on the logo some.

You have so much information on that front page, that its hard at a first glance to know where to look for navigation. I would suggest an easier form of navigation so that as soon as the viewer visits your page, he automatically knows where to go.

I think there is also too much different movement. You have animated ads that are all doing different things, and a scrolling - is it an ad list on the left? Anyway, its all pretty distracting.

Set a background colour, not all users have white default background colour, so your page doesnt present the white background I am sure you aimed to have.

Your colours let you down. The pink & the yellow with the blue text is very 90's web style. Because you have the blues in your title, why not keep with the blue theme throughout the page? It would look a lot crisper combined with black text.

Your title image needs some work though. At moment it is all over the place and the text section is somewhat blurred. The name 'kool edge' doesnt look like it says kool edge, so therefore you are losing your recognition on the site.

Your health quizzes I would put near the top & move some of the advertizing down. People always like doing quizzes, especially health ones. By having it closer to the top you are encouraging them to stay longer at your site.

Which kind of brings me to my next point.... These are outside links, and you are bringing them up as part of your site within your frames. I am just wondering if they have given you permission to do that? Many site owners don't like that practice, and often have it included in their copyright. In case you didn't know about that I thought I should jsut make you aware of that. If you want to keep people at your site but still provide them with outside links, I would suggest opening a new window for those links. That way they can close that window when they have finished with it & still be on your page.

But all together it is a very informative site, and I found some interesting reading material on it. You need to stand back & think professional when you look at it. Because it is health related you will get a lot more respect as a storefront/resource if it looks pro.

Good luck :-)

Cindy

Thanks for the encouragement. I will work and focus on the issues.

As for the logo, I am afraid it may not do any good if I keep changing it until beyond recognition since I am getting some sales now. The name is not the best for a pharmacy as some of you pointed out. Originally, I was planning to make it versatile as I was looking for biz opportunities. I ended up doing online pharmacies.

I just did a price comparison of some ten online pharamices (including drugstore.com, costco, walgreens etc.) on Prilosec (10 mg) tabs all priced at least $2.86/tab to up to $6.50/tab. I like to know where you can buy that cheap.

Cindy and Janeth:

You two made some very good points. This is my second version. The first was more blueish color-wise. But it had no other health info at all, just a plain drug store front. I though I want it a bit warmer and have some useful and updated info for my visitors. The change does come with pros and cons. I will take notes of all suggestions and improve the site further.

The ads are to fill the empty cells for the moment. They are indded a bit distracting. The scrolling area is to tell users what kind of drugs available and some benenfits of buying from me.

Is it a good idea to do a flash header so some of the info in the scrolling area can be presented there?

Thanks for the comments and suggestions.

You don't have a background colour set.
