I am looking for some constructive advice on where to take my site now that I have laid down my final design. I am looking to make a site that will catch the users attention more, yet will also be well equiped as far as SEO goes.

Find out where the pop ups are coming from and kill them or whoever oe whatever .
Your site took over 15 seconds to load with my cable hook up .......... not a good thing .
I'm new here as well , but that's my 2 cents worth.
