Hi,

Overall I like your site layout and I feel that the content is pretty topical.

I can anticipate that many people will say "Lose the Flash Intro". The graphics aren't topical and it moves really slowly, even at my T1 connection - so I'd imaginge that it would be glacial for someone surfing with dial up from home to look for a home-based business opportunity.

From an Search Engine perspective, Flash is just a blank page - the spiders just see "skip intro" and this isn't effective considering we want many doorway pages, not just one.

Finally, my order page pet peeve. Why the "country" drop down menu when the "state" menu is a required field and there are no options outside the US? If you want to offer your services more globally, restrict the drop down to countries you actually service and offer an "other" in the state menu. If you don't work outside the US, say so "only valid for residents of the United States".

Default I thought we weren't supposed to put http in our topic.

I was wondering why people are being allowed to put their url in the subject of their topic? Don't the rules state not to do this?

Default Http in Header

Actually, it is the opposite. Rule number one in the rules is to use your domain as the title or else every entry will read "please review my site" and it will get confusing.

Good luck with your site - work on your cross-linking to improve your visibility. Your content is keyword rich, but you can't depend on that anymore.

Default feedback

hello markmc

I think you did a great job for your first site. I have been learning as I go from these boards and have seen that the use of "times-roman" font is outdated...some say to hard to read. Also, I am no pro but it looks like you have way too many keywords in your meta tag.this could be a penalty against you with some search engines. Try scaling down to just reflect the major keywords, the ones you will be using to describe yourself on the index page itself.

Keep up the great work.........

Hi

Too many keywords is an understatement! I've never seen so many on a website. You are only really supposed to use about 5-10 max. By listing as many as you have, will ultimately loose you hits, and not gain them.

Also, have you thought about putting the navigation at the top of your site, instead of to the left hand side? That way, when you scroll down the homepage page, you would'nt have so much wasted space, as you can pad out the homepage more.

I'm not too keen on the numerous fonts you have either on the homepage. My eyes were all over the place trying to focus. I would advise using two maximum, and that goes for size and different font.

Overall, not a bad try at your first site.
