Default Please review my site http://www.oyebo.com

Hi,

I have had this site for a while, but having been too busty with my daytime job, I have neglected to update with new products.

Now I intend to add not only new products, but also information about mobile communications, etc.

I also intend to give the site a general facelift.

Therefore I would like the site to be reviewed.

Thanks in advance.

I presume this is a type :D

I am not quite sure what your asking. We can give feedback on your current site but if your giving it a facelift wouldn't it be better to do that and then come back for feedback? It's quite difficult to give our opinions when you are planning an overhaul. I personally don't know where to start as the options are endless. I could point out a few things with it currently but not enough to help with a facelift.

The one thign I would say is go for some kind of colour theme. Currently it's a mish mash of odd colours, dark blue, light blue, pink etc. Also try and go for non-gender specific colours. Pink isn't going to keep the guys...

Thats about all I can say until we know the extent of your re-design plans

here are some suggestions I have for a re-degisned site.
1. create the new site to fit into 800x600... currently it is too big and viewer have to scroll sideways.... you have a lot of competition, so don't make it easy for your viewer to get frustrated and find somewhere else to shop.
2. use the same font throughout your site.. you have two different fonts on your pages... the font being used for your upper navigation structure is not professional, which leads me to
3. all your navigation structure should be readily seen by your visitor.. don't make anyone have to scroll down to find the link to home
4. you MUST hava a physical address, phone number, etc. - this lend credibility to your site, especially in light of the fact that you are asking people to give you money.
5. Dump that pink color... you are not selling beauty products or feminine products.
6. your site name is okay with the shadow, but you don't need the shadow with your tagline.

hope this helps...

actually do have a physical address, but it can only be seen by opening the "about us" link, that you only can see after scrolling. I will make the necessary changes.

I totally agree with comments on the color, especially the pink. The suggestion about a colorscheme is a good idea.

"been too busty with my daytime job" is a typo. I meant "been too busy with my daytime job".

All the feedbacks have been good.

Thanks for taking the time.
