Default 6 years of evolving

I am about upgrade another section of my site to match - http://www.restored-classic.com/chevy/
I have been evolving these classified ads for 6 years and I am begining to suspect that it is close to being as good as I ever intended it to be.

The next in line for upgrading is the Pontiac parts section and my intention is to make it the same as the above Chevy pages..

I think its time to get some non user feedback on inprovements I could make, although A few of you that I have worked with will know I am pretty pig headed, I do absorb thoughts or observations that come my way.

looking forward to your comment on improvements I can make to

Default Website Review

Very good but as a first time user of the site.
There is alot to look at in one go.
What about a novice index page and an expert index page for people who know what they are looking for etc.

Jbutton, thanks. I have had awful trouble trying out different index pages and search programs that make it easier to navigate. sometimes the thoughts in my head seem so simple until it is transfered to a working site. I did try several site searches, but users kept using words like Chevrolet and ending up with 500 ressults

Currently the page is full so that the user does not have to 'move' once the right page is found, and its basically printable for a large number of my users who 'get the son to print out the page once a week' (different years etc)

Mostly visitors to this section are only looking to go to a different year.

But message received 'lot to look at in one go' thats something I never saw . . I just presumed if what the user was looking for was not on the page - then the page might as well be empty..

Thanks jbutton - I never imagined making a website would have involved so many compromises . .
