Greetings all! Please review www.bartainer.com. This is my new informational web site for hospitality professionals. Let me know what you think I should add to make this site more enjoyable or less annoying? Is the name attractive?

The name and logo is ok. Here are some suggestions.
1.Move the date and contact information into the body somewhere. Being at the top in plain text is not attractive.
2.If you are trying to center the main table try using the align=”center” parm in the table tag and remove the blockquote tags.

If you do this don’t forget about deleting the </ blockquote> tags and apply the change to all pages. This will help your site look uniformed.

your site is too large to view entirely in 800x600... I would make the width of the table 780, which would then make it viewable to almost everyone.

Your site title does not tell me what you do.... maybe something like "Bar-Trainer" ... I'd drop the (dot com) from the site name.

I agree with the date at the top...

I also don't like the counter at the bottom of the page. I think it makes sites look a bit cheap with fancy page counters...

If you made your top graphic a little shorter and got rid of the counter you might be able to work your site so that it fits on a 1024x768 page without having to scroll down for anymore information which would be a nice touch as well.

Also line up the Contact us line with the right side of the orange bar. And possibly connect the sayings in the orange bar (take out extra spaces) - it looks like a nav bar at first impression. Maybe you can add in another short saying or make the text larger to fit the space, or something......

Also, I think you could really shorten the 2 lines under your logo, maybe just to: "Where hard working hospitality professionals find great information for the hospitality industry" or even shorter than that......"Information for the Hospitality Industry" (or maybe something more creative than that!). Making your phrase short and simple makes people more likely to stop and read it.
