Please review our site. We are a bunch of artists working for a studio www.web-dyn.com and have created this fun site with original content. We recentlly have added two election based eCards as well one for Bush and other for Kerry. We hope you will like our work.

After looking at Funpunch for probably less than a minute here's my feedback.

Stay with one font instead of mixing them. Get rid of the Times New Roman (or whatever it is) on your order page. It rates low on readability. Decide on either Arial or Verdana and use it consistently.

Add content that describes the process, how to pay, costs etc. I couldn't see this quickly, if it's there at all. Before I fill in an order form I want to be pretty clear about what I'm getting myself into. Millions of other people will have the same reaction.

Colours are a matter of personal taste and maybe you've designed for a particular market, but frankly I don't think your visual design is helping you. The site looks 10 years old. Perhaps others might comment on that.

I had no problem reading anything. I thought the style of the site was just fine, a standard layout with very creative graphics. Very fitting for a site called Fun Punch. Load time was not bad at all (I have a half-way decent broadband connection).

My biggest suggestion is to proof read the Packages page (and the rest of the site, but start there). For example, this is part of the first sentance: "which means that after selling it to you we still be having all the rights to resell..."

We will still have. Mistakes like that cost you credibility. Reputable companies communicate well and correctly. That isn't because they speak better English, or whatever language, it's because they hire someone to proof read. I suggest that you print the page and show it to several people. Read it out loud. Do whatever it takes to fix those errors.

Come to think of it, I should do that with my site...

I agree with James about describing the purchasing process.

Good job overall. Great content.

Thanks James for the feedbck, but I am wondering what page you were talking about as we have same font on all pages and do not have any `order form`

Can you please give me the link of that page?

and thank you Rational Beaver for encouraging comments and identifying the mistake. I will fix it as soon as possible. Rightnow I am busy to fix some problem with my other site www.web-dyn.com.

Thanks Again!

Hi,

The page to which I'm refering is the one I reach after clicking on the thumbnail of a card on your home page. For example, if I select the Happy Birthday card in the New Cards category, I go to:

http://www.funpunch.com/create.php?card_id=113

This includes what I would call an order form, where I would enter my details, recipient details etc.

The font for the field labels is Times New Roman. A sample of your source code for the form includes:

<td><font face='Times New Roman' size='3' color='000000'>Your name :</font></td>.

The title of the page ("Card Title") is in Verdana.

Your footer links are in Verdana. Here's an extract from that area:

<font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica" size="2" color="#000000">

Lots of luck!

For the webdyn site: Way too many styles of fonts on the homepage (I counted 7). Also the red doesn't flow well with the orange.....

The funpunch site is cute!
