Submit Your Site For Review Need a fresh set of eyeballs to take a look at your site? Have a specific issue or question about some aspect of your layout, design or interface? This is the forum for you. When submitting your site, be sure to discuss what aspect you are looking for input on. Just posting a link with the word 'review' isn't appropriate.

With trepidation, I ask for a review.
I'm never happy with my site and keep changing it.
I chose HTML text links for better search engine positioning, but I do love DHTML menus except that mine can't be seen in the Opera browser.
I'm not keen on the colours at present. Anyway it's the content and what I offer that I'd be interested in your commnents about.
Quite happy to review other sites. I have an award program so do that quite often.

your content is very very good... you seem to have put in a lot of information.. From what I could see, you have a goolge PR of 4...
My only comment is about the design (for which you did not solicit reviews, but here goes!)..
I viewed your site in 800 x 600 resolution and it is too big... most people are still viewing in that resolution and to make it difficult for them is overlooking a large target audience.

(MSIE 6, 1024x768) Webquests section (work.htm) the content leaks into the nav a few px. Layout seems to make sense, although there's a lot of nav.

The content is indeed good. You have specific education directed web content and then general web design. Why not apply the topics of web design to education sites, or that education component of general sites needing to communicate special ideas or information? For example, not graphic design, but charts, sequential narrative, product or process instructions, diagrams, infographics.

You may be at that point where you need to sit likely target users down and observe where they have difficulty. Otherwise the site looks okay.

Default thanks

Thanks very much for your comments. I have fixed that webquest page and I know about the 800*600 resolution problem, but all my tables are percentages and it isn't as big as some can be, I hope. I used to just have the template in the middle so that it would overcome that problem, but the more links...and the fewer DHTML menus that Opera can't see etc etc. I can't afford to buy anything except when I bought DW at an educational price.
Re the comments about relating the web design to education, I must say I'm not quite sure what you mean, but I taught English and am not familiar with any of those topics you suggested.
Someone privately told me too that one of my js files is incorrect. I sure don't know which one, but I do see in IE that it says 'Done, but with errors on page' which doesn't look too good. Does one test this out by a process of elimination or can someone tell which js file is wrong?

Default error on page

I found out why I had an error on page showing.
A javascript, which I copied, had <script...../SCRIPT>
So I changed the last 'script' to small letters.
That was the problem.
I was also told that you can click on the error icon if you get one and it tells which line of code the error is.
