I really need your help on this. I went to the SEO page and had a test done on my page. For some reason I can not get above a 16.5 out of 30. If you will look over the report and tell me where I am going wrong.

just follow the directions given in the diagnosis...
description= apparently none of your keywords appear in the meta tag for the description... change the description of your site to included at least one of the keywords (usually the one you feel is the strongest)
Page content = your keywords should appear in the body of the text... their recommendation is that it appear at least 4 times... apparently your keywords are not appearing at all in your text..
alt tags= all photos, graphics, etc should have alt tags and your most important keyword should appear in those tags.

I had my site analyzed and it took me about 5 changes to get an excellent rating in all but page content.. I only got good there. it's a lot of work.. remember, that when you are putting keywords in the body of the text, each page in your site may be different.. you cannot use keywords that do not appear on a specific page, which makes it an even harder job.. take each page at a time, and pick out words that you feel are good for keywords, write them down per page, and then make your changes.. be sure that you are not putting in too many keywords.. 48 is the max.
good luck!

loved your site!

I love how you are helping the way you are. I used to do magic tricks for the children in the hospital to brighten up their day. It was an experience I will never forget.

There's nothing at the moment that I would change. When I get the time, I will have to browse some more.

I also wanted to let you know, I donated 2.00. Not much, but there will be more :)

I like the colors and the overall feeling for the design.
However, I have a large computer screen and the center text gets exspanded very much, with the small text it was quite dificult for me to read line for line. By this I mean my eyes loose track of which line i was one and read the same line over again.
I recommned that you only let the page exspand a certain width this will ensure that I can read the site text easily with a 19" monitor at high resolution.

I was looking for links to put on my site. I typed in 3 different words, not even looking for my site. I use dogpile, it offers a broader range. Anyway, I was #8 overall, and #4 on google. (Yes, I'm bragging) I know I could not have done it without your help.

Great results imadunce, now lets see if we can't make you #1!

First off ~ You effectively have no title on the page. I realize you have the page title in your HTML, and you've got the title in your alt text on two pictures including the one header graphic, but Search Engines don't read graphics, nor do they recognize alt text as titles. The <title> in HTML tag doesn't carry allot of weight because it's not using your keywords. Therefore, let's agree you've essentially got no Title, and work on that!

First fix is simple, we need to install subtitle over the first line of text on the page. Said subtitle should include primary keywords, and it should be in either header <h> or bold [b] font type, so the engines will immediately recognize it as a title. Given your keywords, try something along the line of "Free program to comfort sick and terminally-ill children." This title line picks up 7 of your keywords.

I would also use that line, loaded with keywords in the alternate text for my images. It's grand that you're promoting your page title there, as you have, BUT... it's not helping your keyword find in search strings, without including those keywords.

The tool also indicates an issue with lack of keyword use in your description, where again you have snuck the page title in, which isn't loaded with keywords. Thus I'd recommend you sneak the same keyword saturated subtitle, in your description ahead of your former title. Since it's already found mid-page, we're going to make it a subtitle, and this will help provide relevancy with that. This will all resolve issues with your primary keywords not being used in description to boot.

"Page Content" needs to be optimized for keywords!

Here again, you need to focus on your primary keywords, and try to incorporate them all in page text; you list "Free", as the primary keyword in your list of keywords. And, in fact you list it twice in your keywords, emphasizing its importance there, yet it only appears on the page once. Same situation with several of your other keywords.... Love, Kids, Sick, Health, all of them only show up once on the page. Terminally Ill, and non-profit only twice. Program and Children look way better, from an engine's point of view. I personally would emphasize "Free" Program, a little more frequently, see if you can't get at minimum 6 - 8 "free"s in there, and then try to work the other keywords in. Optimally you want to see each at least 3 times, and given what you've got for content, I could visualize that pretty easily.

Having not fulfilled my good deed for the week, except maybe once! I'm sure I'm behind someplace anyhow, I worked up a draft for your review, and we hit 26 ratings pretty consistently on your primary keywords with it. Our only weakness is keyword concentration in the title, wherein, I'll let you decide how you want to deal with that. What ever you duplicate there for keywords, you're going to hit a perfect score on. By all means copy the source and paste it to your site, it's my donation to your cause.

Only problem we have there is, I couldn't find the background source for the link cells, I assume that's being handled in your java image pre-load, and pasting this might give you trouble there considering that. Try it off to the side, under a different file name first, and make sure it's going to work for you, before loading it up as your homepage.

Let me know as soon as you've got it downloaded, and I'll pull the page off my site so we don't confuse Google!

Merry Christmas!
And, a Happy New Year!
