Ok first thing to do is set the main tables width as 740 as thats what it will be and center it. I recommend putting the Trip Planning link below the Tour Providers link to get rid of the space you have between the links and the content. Then widen the content table.

Lose the "site best viewed at" as it serves no purpose, nobody is going to alter their monitors resolution just for a web site. Same can be said about the no right click javascript.

Default Why change the tables?

Hi, thanks for your reviews so far! I am curious, though, what difference it would make to set the main table at 740 and move it to center? In my working on development of sites for the past several years I have been aware that in the beginning sites were tabled at no larger than 600 for 640 x 480 resolution. However I have alos been aware through many mediums that the standard in the industry has changed to 800 x 600 for at least 50% of the general populace. Some folks still use the 640 x 480 and some folks, like me, go to 1024 x 768...
So in my estimation to 'go with the flow' means to middle of the road... that would be the 800 x 600 res which is what this site is built to suit. By tabling at 740 width and centering it there would be a wide space on the left and the right at 1024 x 768. I don't think that would be appropriate.
But thanks for the input!

Rene

Making the width 770 guaranteees that you will not get horizontal scroll on 800x600 monitors. the reason I said 740 is thats what yours is at now (240 + 500). Centering the table means it will be in the center on larger monitors and not leave a load of blank space at the side.

Default adding the width won't change anything...

Since the total width for both parts, sidebar and main table, is no larger than what 800 x 600 can handle without a left/right scroll bar I see no need... and since the client likes the left sidebar hugging the left of the screen at 1024 I won't be making that change... but thank you!

pah what do clients know grrrrrrrrrrrr

But you have centered the table at the bottom that contains the links and contact address which makes it look weird in comparison.

I really like the background (but then I like the color green).

Default Clients... Gotta Love 'Em~

I have to laugh at what carbonize had to say about clients, danged if I don't agree a majority of the time. I feel as though I spend at least half my time educating and the other half designing.

I will take a look at how the bottom of the page lines up... thanks so much one and all.
