Hi Doug_R
There are a lot of gift web sites online. You have to find something that makes you stand out of the crowd. I think a good start is in your logo.

I would have a really nice logo and some really good text about my business on the home page.

I would also only have two font colors.

The yellow font color is also very hard to read.

Hi Doug_R

I would probably agree with Janeth with regards to font colours - there is a lot going on on your pages and having lots of different colours only makes it harder to focus on.

I think organisation is the key. How about placing all of the navigation (the directory and site navigation) in one place. Using similar size fonts for the rollover state of links would be a good step forward also, at the moment the links cause the content below them to move when you rollover them because of the different font size. Personally I would use one colour for the body/information text and one colour/size for the links.

I would consider using a plain colour for the background - you can always jazz it up a bit by using good product photos. A well chosen background colour will make the site easier on the eye and place more focus on the products.

I dont want to be too negative because you have made a good start to this site - with a little refinement I think the site could become what you want it to be.

I thought it was a good site. Items displayed good. Easy to navigate. Fast load time. I especially like the way you laid out your items. You didn't put too many on one page making load time slow down.
