Looks good,

The colors are pleasing and the layout is fine.

You have extra space on the bottom of your home page... Maybe you could fill it with a keyword packed desciption of your services and products.

Normally you would want your keywords as high on the page as you can get them, but you have a table that you probably want to keep up there so that visitors don't have to scroll down to see it... and it would stay consistant with the other pages.

That's about all I can add... hope it helps!

I have found the suggestions for my site to be very helpfull... Please take a look, your review would be appreciated!

A layout I haven't seen before - but then I don't get out much :-)
Looks good - it has that floating concept.

You have externalised some javascript as well as CSS. There might be a reason you have left some javascript and styles in the html page but if there isn't, I would consider externalising it as well.

Plus running it through HTML validator produced a few errors.
Regards
Anthony.

Thanks :), whats so different that you havn't seen before? Also I ran it through a validator a few times while back but because the homepage is dynamic and not only composed from one source, I am not sure where to fidn each error the validator points out... any suggestions? As for the js I willl look into it and see if I can externalize all of it, thanks for the heads up...

Also, If I were to take the previous posters advice and create a keyword happy description of our site and services in the empty space, are there any suggestions for the content I will want to use or any tips on how to create something (a box or table or whatever) that would fit nicley into that space? Finally would this really help that pages ranking? Or could I use that space for better things?

Default could I use that space for better things?

ticketauction,

Do you have anything better for that empty space?

Until you find something better for that empty space you should put the text there.

The text you put there is not just for the search engine. It is also visitor happy space, because the text if written correctly can influence the reader in a positive way.

How you put it on the page is up to you but remember that if you use an image file to display your text then the space is only visitor happy space and the search engines will ignore the text.

I use a lot of tables and tables inside tables at my site and the search engines find my text just fine.

I have a good rank at google ( I don't have time to check all the search engines but I prefer that one ) and it does matter how many times your keywords appear on the page and it matters where and how they are on the page. ( although the greatest influence for my great rank is the link I have on the Open Directories )

Every procedure for website development carries it's own weight... The links to you from high ranking sites carries most of the weight.

I would suggest that you subscribe to SiteProNews newsletter, it has been very helpful to me over the past year as I have been developing my site.

You may want to ask a professional writer to help with your text if you are having 'writers block'.

My pages have a lot of text now, but they started out with very little. I have been working on improving it for the past year. A proffesional writer could whip something up in hurry.

Wishing you success...

I can get it written, thanks for the tips. I know alot about SEO as I have studied it as a hobbie for a few years. I suscribe to both sitepro and webpro news but thanks for the tip :). I think I will end up putting the text in a table and I have some good ideas of what to pack it with and how :).
