Default www.harborsoles.com Review appreciated

Hey everyone! I'm new to this game, been designing websites in the past 12 years for kicks... and now I'm using my skills to do an on-line shoe store. Hope you can provide some feedback! :) THaNKS

Tested in IE6 ad Mozilla 56k modem 800x600. Graphics are a little slow to load. Looks good in both browsers. A very nice design. Good luck with it.

Nice Job, easy to navigate and buy. The logo looked pretty choppy on my laptop but the rest of the page looked fine.

I walked through the order process and found that the birkenstock sandles didn't have size options. The Teva sandals did though, you should double check all your products ...

If I was in the market I would have ordered. Good job.

Default Left Margin?

Loaded fast but in IE6 there is no left margin.
The left menu is right at the edge of the browser window.

The look is a little busy. Too many extra domain links at the bottom that seem to be going to the same site. The ones that go to a differnt site seem to be operated by you but are still footwear.

You should maybe combine all of the shoe sites into one and market for one domain name. Your focus seems a bit scattered.

I know I'm nit-picking but just trying to be helpful.

I chose no left margin on purpose, is that bad?

About The URL's - Its true they all link to the same page, or our own pages yes. The reason I did that was in an attempt to help identify a relation to our customers who come in through a different URL. So they know its still the same website. We advertise our Dr. Marten and Harley websites, but not as agressivley as harborsoles.com.

I just don't know what else I can do about the load time... I have reduced my design to include small graphics... what exactly is loading slow for you? I am not sure what more I can shave off and still maintain my design look. Before I did this new redesign our load time was 80 seconds on a 56k connection... now its around 30. I know thats still too slow but I am at a loss as to where I can reduce. HELP!
